Hurtec was The only firefighting pump allowed to Operate at AFAC 2026
The super-quiet Hurtec Electric Firefighting Pump turned heads at AFAC 2026, Australia’s peak firefighting and emergency services trade show.
AFAC 2026 attracted industry professionals from all over Australia.
Unlike the diesel pumps on display at many of the other stands, Hurtec was able to operate their pump inside the Melbourne Exhibition Centre as it does not emit fumes and operates quietly—just over 60db.
Visitors were treated to several live demonstrations of the pump and saw a fully functional Light Attack Vehicle. Hurtec was able to show how to easily draft water, pump water at mopping up and firefighting pressures.
Founder Justin Hurcom showed visitors how FleetCon software simplified the many functions of the pump, and logged live data from both the pump and vehicle.
